Australia’s Savvy Beverage calls for greater honesty and transparency about nootropics among functional beverage firms
This was the headline of an article where we have called out what seems to be a prevalence of highly priced functional beverages that contain inadequate beneficial ingredients.
We are asking for greater honesty and transparency among Aussie and NZ businesses to advance the emerging category of nootropics.
As an example, SAVVY uses large functional doses of all ingredients in their products, which usually amounts to over twenty (20x) more than competitors.
This huge disparity is not to say that we pack more punch... rather, ours works and is based on science, and theirs does not.
They will often say "scientifically proven ingredients" - which is true, only when the correct dose (or amount) is used.
For example, we use 2500mg of Panax Ginseng in our energising nootropics range, and we have seen competitors using ginseng, but usually at only 100mg or 200mg - which is far too small of a dose to work.
